Ribeira do Cavalo beach is located in Sesimbra and is part of the Arrábida Natural Park. It is a wild beach and access by land is of a high level of difficulty, it is surrounded by coves, bays, rocks, cliffs, tunnels and small caves.
On this guided tour, participants will pass through the mule cove, where they will be able to observe the stratification of the soil, essentially composed of limestone.
They will pass through 2 tunnels and enter 2 small caves (in favorable sea conditions), one of which has a hole in the roof that eliminates the bottom on sunny days.
Participants will also pass through some narrow passages between rocks. Visit the friar's cove with a short stop in front of the cave entrance with a short explanation.
They will stop for up to 45 minutes at Ribeira Cavalo beach. During this period, participants are free to dive in the transparent and crystal clear waters. On the beach, juice and toasted flour will be delivered to all participants.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ROUTE
- Distance: 7,600 meters. (Start at the shelter port of Sesimbra until Frade cove, with a stop at Ribeira do Cavalo beach)
- Difficulty: Low/medium (depends on the weather and sea conditions of the day (wind direction and intensity)).
- Approximate duration of 3 hours, including the initial briefing and stop at Ribeira do Cavalo beach.

- Minimum age to participate: 8 years old.
- Have the physical capacity to row.

IMPORTANT NOTES
Participants should be aware that they will do the activity in a kayak and will have to paddle.
The kayaks are doubles so there will be 2 people in each kayak.
A guide for each group of up to 10 people.
For individual registrations, each group does not exceed 10 people.
For organized groups, we adjust the number of guides to the size of the group.
Use of motor support vessel is restricted.

A day of adventure in the heart of the Arrábida Natural Park combining a Kayak experience and a jeep tour.
The adventure begins in a kayak, passing through caves and secret coves that are only accessible from the sea. As you sail across the Atlantic Ocean you will visit secret beaches and the karst formation of Caverna do Frade. Back in Sesimbra, we will stop at the iconic Ribeira do Cavalo beach. Here you can enjoy a snack and take a dip in the transparent waters surrounded by limestone rock formations – perfect for photographing and immortalizing your experience.
Afterwards, you will embark on a jeep tour through the heart of Serra da Arrábida, with stops at several viewpoints such as Sesimbra Castle; Alto do Jaspe, which offers unique views of Serra do Risco; Bad Roman; Portinho da Arrábida; I believe in the beach; Arrábida Convent and North viewpoints (view of Lisbon and the Tagus estuary) and South viewpoint (view of the beaches of Tróia and Arrábida).

This kayak program allows you to explore the stunning landscapes of Arrábida, Ribeira do Cavalo Beach and Albufeira Lagoon.
Participants, divided into teams and in kayaks, are invited to complete a main riddle whose interpretation leads the teams to discover the treasure.
To complete the puzzle, you will need to locate strategic points. At these points, teams will have access to the information necessary to reach the next point and to small questions whose answer will serve to fill in the main enigma. They will walk from point to point until they discover all the cards and thus complete the puzzle.
At the end, a prize will be awarded.
The activity involves some physical effort.
