This activity is perfect for beginner canoeists who love wildlife.
In the canal area between the Grande and Pequena Lagoons, you can spot incredible birds, mallard ducks, coots, herons, cormorants, little grebes, among others... And a visit to the mussel farms is also a must.
Kayak pick-up is in front of the "O Conde" Restaurant.

Equipment included in each double kayak:
- 2 Paddles;
- 2 Life jackets;
- 2 Seats (with support and backrest).

The kayaks are sit-on-top and accommodate 2 adults and 1 child.
ROUTE AND PLACES TO VISIT
- Start on the south bank of Lagoa Grande, opposite the Conde restaurant;
- Mussel farms;
- North bank beach;
- Beach in front of the campsite.
- Area of the strait between Lagoa Grande and Lagoa Pequena;
- Passage to Lagoa Pequena is prohibited;
Note: Ideal route for participants with little experience.
SAFETY CONDITIONS AND CARE
Weather conditions: On windy days, be careful to check if the wind is strong; in that case, it's best to stay on land, as you will be swept towards one of the banks.
Current: Always check the tide times. On days when there is a connection between the ocean and the lagoon, the current is usually strong. During the transition from low tide to high tide, do not approach the connecting channel.
There is a designated swimming area; do not enter this space.

Until 10 am or as agreed.
From 9 am to 7 pm.
Kayaks
The kayaks are sit on top and accommodate 2 adults and 1 child.
Vests
Each kayak includes 2 vests. If the middle seat is eventually occupied by a child under 10 years old, we will provide the vest at no additional cost.
Recommendations
Use of appropriate clothing and footwear: Shorts/bikini, towel, hat, sunscreen, flip flops and warm/windproof shirt (to use if necessary).
Change clothes.
Information
Those who rent the equipment are responsible for their conservation, as well as possible damage caused to third parties.
They will also be responsible for any licensing or authorization of the places where they intend to practice the activity.
